Les Arcs general information

Chambry Airport is the closest airport to Les Arcs, at just two hours away. However, it’s a relatively small airport and flights from the UK aren’t very regular. Geneva is three hours away and Lyon is four, making both of them viable options. Both have connections to Les Arcs, whether opting for the train, shuttle bus, taxi or hire car. Other options are shared shuttle buses or even helicopter rides, for those feeling particularly flashy.

If not taking a helicopter, the long transfer times can be a pain. However, in order to entice guests to book, sometimes airport pick-ups are included in the price or as a small additional cost for the accommodation. It’s worth checking when booking to see if it is possible to save money and effort after landing.

Lift passes can be purchased for either the Les Arcs area alone, or for the whole Paradiski area. Prices don’t vary much, so if planning to spend a few days on the piste, it’s worth the extra investment as the ski options are so much more varied with the whole area to explore. Six day passes are available, with children’s rates being about a third less than adult ones.
