For visitors in Ireland, news that Aer Lingus are introducing a new route between Cork and Gran Canaria.

The service is a weekly one, with departure at 7am.

Meanwhile flightstats.com have a page about the airport in Gran Canaria, with photographs and statistics – for example that some nine million people a year use it.
